    A bright red/ruby color, the 2023 Pinot Noir Provocateur is a barrel selection of the more obvious and bigger slanting barrels in the cellar, with darker hints and a floral character, and it has the real structure that’s true to what Jim does with these wines. One of the best values in the lineup, it has ripe, crunchy cherries, cranberries, and orange peel, along with rich, chalky tannins, and it has a lovely angular structure while maintaining a ripe and refreshing feel. Drink over the next 7-8 years.
